Cornell's FileMaker volume license is available to Cornell University staff and faculty, for installation onto Cornell-owned machines.
CU Software currently resells two products: FileMaker Pro Advanced, and FileMaker Server.
FileMaker Pro Advanced is a single-user product that combines the features of the two earlier products FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Advanced. Customers with continued maintenance agreements that started with either of the earlier products can upgrade to this version.
FileMaker Server allows multiuser access to a centrally-housed database. This product is custom-priced based on the feature set needed and the number of simultaneous connections to the database. Customers who are interested in FileMaker Server need to work with the Tech Connection Licensing Team to obtain a quote for a configuration that will meed their needs.
We recommend that new FileMaker customers buy into our maintenance license at purchase, and then continue to renew that license on an annual basis.
